Around Crestview

  • Crestview station — the Red Line stop that turned Lamar and Airport into a walkable hub
  • Brentwood Neighborhood Park — the pool and playfields on the neighborhood's west edge
  • Burnet Road — the taqueria-coffee-vintage strip locals would rather you kept quiet about
Getting here
Crestview is the one area we serve with two rail-and-bus options: the Red Line stops here, and the 7 begins near Crestview station and runs Duval straight down through Hyde Park — a one-seat ride to within a block of the studio.
Parking
Free street parking, no meter and no garage — worth knowing if you've given up on the Burnet Road curb on a Saturday morning.

2.9 mi door to door — measured from Crestview station with OSRM / OpenStreetMap, 2026-07-30. Traffic will have its own opinion.

A little Crestview history (it started as a dairy farm)

If you call Crestview home, you’re living on what used to be open pasture. Developer A.B. Beddow built the neighborhood out on an old dairy farm in the years right after World War II, and the streets filled fast — many of the first families were returning GIs using the GI Bill to buy those tidy ranch houses. As for the name, the story locals love is that Beddow and his wife borrowed it from Crestview, Florida, a place they liked to visit.

The Wall of Welcome, the 120-foot mosaic at the neighborhood’s Burnet-side entrance, still greets you like a front porch, and Crestview station turned the corner at Lamar and Airport into a genuinely walkable little hub.

The best transit trip of any neighborhood we serve

Eye Charm is at 4000 Avenue B2.9 miles from Crestview station, about seven minutes down Lamar or across on Koenig/45th.

But Crestview has the option nobody else does: the 7 begins near Crestview station and runs Duval straight down through Hyde Park, dropping you about a block from the door. One seat, no transfer, no parking. The Red Line stops here too, if you’re coming from further out. We’re open seven days, 10am–6pm — book on the booking page.

Lashes that fit a Burnet Road kind of life

Crestview runs on an unpretentious rhythm and the lash work suits it. Every set starts with a real consultation and a shape mapped to your eyes, then handmade fans, never pre-made. Want barely-there for the school run and the farmers market? Classic lashes read like really good mascara. Ready for more? Hybrid weaves in texture and volume brings the soft, full version. Skipping extensions entirely is a real option too: a keratin lash lift curls your own lashes for six to eight weeks. All prices, both artist tiers, on the price list.

★★★★★
“When I moved from London to Austin, after seeing the same lash lady for nearly 5 years, I was so worried. I need not have — I found Anastasiia! She is the absolute best and I'm constantly asked where I get my lashes done. The quality, retention and prices are the best you'll find in Austin!”

“I've been getting my lashes done by Anastasiia for almost a year now and I just wish I found her sooner. Her work is always consistent and her retention is so perfect — my lashes stay cute all the way up to my fills. She's fast and I never have any irritation.”

Good to know

Crestview lash questions, answered

How far is Eye Charm from Crestview?

2.9 miles, about seven minutes — down Lamar or across on Koenig/45th into Hyde Park to 4000 Avenue B.

Can I get there on transit from Crestview?

Better than from anywhere else we serve. The 7 begins near Crestview station and runs Duval straight down through Hyde Park, so it's a one-seat ride that leaves you about a block from the door — no transfer, no parking.

Are you open on weekends?

Both days, 10am to 6pm, same as the rest of the week. A Saturday slot after the Burnet Road farmers market is the standing Crestview habit.

Which set reads most natural?

Classic — one extension per natural lash, so it reads like very good mascara rather than an obvious lash look. Hybrid is the next step up if you want woven-in texture without going full volume.
